For cuticles that are in poor condition, intensive cuticle work to hands or feet prior to Gel Polish application.
Cuticle care is an important element to gel nails service, any remaining cuticle will prevent full adhesion of products to the nail plate, causing lifted gel or nail polish.
Includes: softening cuticle cream is applied, cuticles are soaked in warm water, cuticle pushed back, then cuticle remover, applied and just like magic softens hard skin, then the Curette, removes excess cuticle with no damage to the nail plate. Finally a cuticle nipper is used to remove any skin tags if needed.
Note: we never never cut cuticles as it can them to thicken, we never use an electric file to remove the cuticle, electric file causes friction that can burn through the nail plate.
