Appointments
What happens if I run late for my appointment?
Time is booked exclusively for you, being on time for your appointment is greatly appreciated; likewise we will try to run on time to the best of our ability. Regretfully, late arrival for any appointment may result in shortening of the appointment time or may mean we are unable to provide the service booked and may have to offer you an alternative treatment for the remaining portion of your allocated treatment time.
Appointment cancellation policy?
In consideration for other clients and our therapists we would greatly appreciate that you give us 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of treatments otherwise a 50% of the full charge may apply.
Booking Information
Why is it necessary to have a consultation on my first visit?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment time (first visit only). This will allow time to complete a consultation and to allow the therapist to adapt the treatment to suit your individual needs.
I have some medical conditions what booking advice do I need to be aware of?
A therapist will complete an assessment prior to some treatments which are contra-indicated for certain conditions. It is essential that you inform us at the time of booking if you are currently receiving medical treatment or have done so recently as some treatments may not be suitable or may require your doctors consent. It is important that we are made aware at the time of booking if you are pregnant or suffer from any allergies.
Also as some electrical treatments are prohibited to clients with certain medical conditions, please inform us at the time of booking if your suffer from any of these conditions: Pacemaker, Heart Condition, Diabetes, Allergies, Epilepsy, Contact Lenses, Pregnancy, Metal Plates / Pins / Coil. If you are unsure about any condition, past or present, please ask at the time of booking.
Payment Methods
What methods of payment are accepted?
We are happy to accept most major credit cards are acceptable, cash, debit cards or cheque. Group bookings / wedding parties and package treatments will be required to pay 50% of treatment cost at time of booking to secure the appointment.
Is VAT included in the price?
Yes all prices for beauty treatments and products include value added tax at a 20%.
General
Terms and conditions for gift vouchers
Valid for 6 months. Gift Vouchers can be redeemed for beauty hair and nails services or products. Gift Vouchers are non-refundable. Products purchased by Gift Voucher cannot be refunded for cash. Lost or stolen Gift Vouchers cannot be authenticated. Please quote your voucher number when making your appointment. Mail order service is available for Gift Vouchers, Telephone or e-mail to leave details of your requirements and we can post the voucher out to you or the recipient.
Terms and conditions for courses
All courses are valid for six months. Course must be pre-paid and are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Lost property advice?
We do advise that our clients keep their belongings with them at all times, if removing jewellery for treatments it must be secured in a handbag or on your person. Please take care of your valuables as the salon cannot be responsible for their loss.
Terms and conditions of service
All prices, treatments and information are correct at the time of posting this and are subject to revision without notice. Management reserves the right to change, alter or amend any aspect of the contents of this brochure without prior notice. We offer a no refund policy.
Gratuities are greatly appreciated
If you wish to leave your therapist a gratuity this is entirely at your own discretion. If you are happy with your treatment why not show it. Unfortunately tips cannot be added onto credit /debit transactions.
Pre-Treatment Advice
Pre-treatment advice prior to booking a body massage
For all massage and body treatments we would ask that underwear remains on for hygiene purposes. Alternatively we can offer disposable underwear.
Pre-treatment advice prior to booking to a spray tanning application
Waxing or shaving must be completed a minimum of 24 hours prior to treatment. Exfoliate prior to appointment. Your skin must be free of all perfume, deodorant or aromatherapy oils. It is advisable to wear loose dark clothing, disposable tangos can be issued upon arrival.
Pre-treatment advice prior to booking tinting, HD brows & semi-permanent make-up
A patch test is required a minimum of 24 hours prior to your first treatment of tinting, HD Brows & semi-permanent make-up
Pre-treatment advice prior to booking a pedicure.
If is advisable to wear open toed shoes after a pedicure to ensure that your varnish does not get smudged.
